At the end of August was the penultimate UkuG 5/10GHz cumulative and I found 30 minutes between gardening chores to quickly set-up my kit from home IO91NL in Wargrave. Two local stations were worked Noel G8GTZ/P who was very loud from Hannington (IO91JH, 30km) and Dave G1EHF/P who was also strong from Walbury (IO91GI, 43km).

A very enjoyable short break to play radio, and great to get a few more QSO’s in the log and some more experience of using the fantastically versatile Pluto SDR.
